Well, on eBay ... but medals actually made of gold, as opposed to having gilt overlay, are rather rare in any condition. It's also one of the more ... uh, less ugly portraits of Bismarck -- and in an old lobster-back helm, at that.

I don't know who the designer is yet but, ironically, his initials are "A.H." I'm not really up on German medalists, less so from this period.

Lloyd, I don't know what carat it is, but it's pretty yellow gold. Considering the prices for gold recently, I was pleasantly surprised at how (relatively) little I had to pay for it.
