I love Mike Mezack from HSN

Just about 20 minutes ago he said a complete set of morgans that graded MS65 would go for 5 to 8 million... Umm is that true or is he a total lyer lier lire and any other way you can say it.

I truley wish there was a way we could have a nice chat with him in here or some other forum.

  • Was he trying to scare people off , or just convince them
HIS coins were a steal ?

Just checked the PCGS Priceguide, a complete set of ms-65
    Morgans costs $2,349,222.
  • He isnt trying to convince people his coins are a steal ... He is trying to steal peoples money.

  • PCGS's price list (and we know how on the mark that is image ) puts a full set of morgans in MS65 at $2,349,222 so the above quote is WAY high.

Give him some slack. It depends how you define complete set. Maybe if you include all the different die varities.

As a side note, at the houston money show on display were four coins that in total were valued at 3 million.

I believe they were seated liberty dollars in ms65 (I looked at many coins today so I'm not sure of the type).

Funny, back in the sixties when you could pocket them in the casinos and get them from banks, a complete set of Gem BU Morgans (nobody knew what MS65 was back then) cost maybe $1000, soaking wet. Pretty good price appreciation

  • I have purchased many coins from Mike Mezack over the years, unfortunately. He was offering a "Guarantee of Perpetuity" on the grade of PR70 coins from ICG. I called ICG and HSN and neither knew about any such guarantee. Is that Fraud?

Did you record the show so you could prove it?
