Ol' Dead King, the only sister she has is in NC but is married to an ex-Army Special Forces Officer. I don't think you want to go there.

Oh, I do! Otherwise you'd have to pity the poor coin dealers.

Here's a call I got today from the mall. A lady was at my booth and wanted to know what kind of metal the coins were made of, and "are they gold, silver, or copper".

    "Which coins?" said I.

"Belgium, Spain, France, and Yugoslavia," said she.

"I'm sorry, but you'll have to tell me the dates and denominations of the coins." I replied (and explained what I meant about denominations).

She rattled off the list, and I told her what the metallic content of each was.

I knew from the beginning of the conversation that she was diggin' around in my 3/$1.00 bin, as my 10-cent bin is loose, unattributed coins. (The 3/$1.00 ones are in 2X2's but I don't grade them- just country, denomination, and date.)

So anyway, the unspoken question was, were these gold or silver?

Umm, yeah, suuuure. I sell lots of gold and silver in my three-for-a-dollar bin. image

(Well, OK, I do actually slip some small silver in there once in a while, so that wasn't a completely stupid question. And an aluminum-bronze BU Spanish peseta might look sorta like gold to the uninitiated...but...geez!)
