Here's my latest purchase.
Since I'm not used to Canadian nickel 5 cent pieces, I don't know how to judge strikes for George V "nickels." I've never seen a razor-sharp business strike, so I don't know how scarce they are.
For those of you in the know, how does this one stack up? Weak strike? Ordinary strike? Strong strike? There may appear to be wear because of light reflecting off the plastic on the holder, but there is no friction on this coin.

<< <i>Looks nice. On the rev, center of left leaf - is that a flat spot or reflection from the 2x2 holder? If its the holder it might be MS63.

It must be a reflection off the plastic. The real item has no flat spots. The surfaces look "bubbly" in some areas, probably from die degradation. There is no sign of cleaning, corrosion, or any other problem, and the coin is quite lustrous.

Like The Mushroom Man said, I'd rate the coin as average, personally.
Such snobbery!
