1958 Topps #433 Herrer("a") error card is listed in the master set on the registry. No one with a set in the registry owns the card!
Does anyone know someone with this card or seen it auctioned in the last few years?

But wait a minute. You may ask how 1+1+2+1+1+2+2=11? This is known as "PSA Math". It is a common phenomenon on the Pop Report, especially with rarer cards and variations, but most definitely not limited to them. Check out any set and you will see this discrepancy.
Never trust the Pop Report on these. It's a shame that we can't trust it, but it's a fact we must live with. Just ask the '69 Topps Baseball variation or the '72 Kelloggs Baseball variation collectors.
JEB.
since pancho herrera was a cuban born player i have been looking for this card for a long time without finding one ...i did see one on ebay once which was in bad shape and it sold for over a hundred.

Of all the similar errors of the 40's and 50's this one seems harder- was it corrected early in the run, or damage to the plate late in the run?
Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's
I believe that they do Marty, although qualified cards below 7 wo'nt show in the breakdown columns.

I'm pretty sure on that one....
Also -- edited to note: Most examples of this card, I would believe, are in set collectors hands. Most that would have this card probably got it before PSA became the place to go for grading commons. Many of the 1950s error cards that show up show up in the context of complete raw master sets (with stars graded). I'm sure that that is where I saw the last example of the Herrer card hiding. Just like in the most recent Mastro auction -- that is also where a lot of the Bakep '57s turn up.

You can see a picture of the card if you go to their archives. I personally think the card is just a printing defect and not a huge deal.
