Roosie FB Designation submission ?results?

2 submissions were received at PCGS on 11/24 and 11/25. Coins were shipped today meaning turn-around was 11 and 12 days respectively AND a major show was going on in Baltimore. GOOD TURN AROUND TIME.

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till I get home to see results as FB results aren't available online and I'll have to look-up the SN's one by one.....BUT I already know there will be some updates in my Registry set!!!

Bill, you got it WRONG. Make lots of FB coins, sell the FB coins, and buy more pretty non-band coins! image

My 11/13 Roosie submission was posted this afternoon. I had searched 20, 1996 mint sets. I dunno about line 4... That one is a mystery. But, I'm kinda, sorta pleased with the rest. At least 6 out of 7 came back FB something...

Dave, the coin we were both viewing was a bust - not even close.

  • Bummer Craig,

Not like we don't know this is a tough one to find in FB though. Better hunting next year! Dave

Dave - always hunting! Even though I paid alot for that coin, I couldn't bring myself to return it....it was my fault so now I own a very expensive dime - and if and when I do sell, I'll lose 75% of what I paid for that coin. But I'll make it up on volume.........image

I did just add a MS66FB to my set - found a coin with superb bands - a "no brainer". The coin is technically MS67FB - not a mark on it but the toning is mottled and not especially attractive - it just doesn't have the look or I'd crack it in a heartbeat.
