Bill got that set for just a few dollars more than I payed for the dollar coin alone,that sucks.I like the whole set better.Live and learn.

The Cook Islands has had some beautiful coins, that's for sure.

Except the Tangoroa dollar. That "God of Fertility" makes Sir Winston Churchill look like a movie star. Yoiks!

Hands down, that coin beats the Churchill Crown for world's ugliest in my book, and yet it is ugly in a cool sorta way.

I often distinguish between "Cool Ugly" and "Plain Old Ugly". For instance, I think a BMW Z-3 sportscar is ugly. But definitely "cool ugly".
