  • Nice...very nice coin.
I have had a few coins posred to me stuck to a cardboard by using tape across them.

I don't have a proper way to express my disgust.

Nice coin it's good to see the tape did not do much harm.

  • I don't know what these peeps are thinking when they put tape on the actual coin?!?!?

If there is any residue, acetone will take it off w/o damaging the coin (as long as it's not copper!).

    Really nice coin, btw!

  • Nice coin image I once had to cut a medal loose from wrapping tape with an x-acto knife. The guy had wrapped it in layers of tape. Only neutral I've ever left on eBay...

That's a really impressive coin, Boz. Is it a proof? Were you able to remove the tape residue? Acetone works great.

Acetone did take off the sticky residue along with the slight bit of PVC residue from being in a PVC flip at sometime in it's life. The picture does not show it, but this coin is proof.
  • The coin and the pic look good to me.
Nice to know you did not have problems with the tape.image

  • I guess if you had to remove PVC it doesn't matter anyway. Nice coin!

A very nice coin!! It galls me to receive one with tape directly on it. Fortunately, that's rare. I did get a pair of medals in that manner a month ago and surprisingly it was from a seller who knew better and who had never shipped that way to me before.
