1959 Topps Question

I have a question for some of you who know the 1959 Topps set. I am working on the set, and have a nice start. I started looking at the top collections on the registry and notice a couple cards always missing. I was wondering the story on these, because I just got what I think is a rare card for the set. PSA 7 Vern Law #12. I set out to try to get the cards the key collections are missing because I figured if I could get them now when they are availble then I better get it. Just like the Billy Hunter #11. I have a 6 of it.

My collection, the Vern Law is in the 3 day wait process of being added.

I don't know the set at all, but usually the top collectors are looking for a PSA 8 or better. If you are willing to collect 6's and 7's, then you shouldn't have to be so tactical in your approach.

David is correct.

I have never bought a card graded less than an 8 in my life(although I hold out the possibility that to complete certain sets I am working on I may have to).

Don, as a fellow Mariner fan, I feel your pain.

It is difficult to see the A's there again after we win 93 games (again) and sit home and watch everyone else in the playoffs. Ichiro's slump could not have come at a worse time.

Oh well. I think a Red Sox-Cubs World Series would be the shot in the arm that would make baseball take off again.

Glad to see another Mariner faithful out there!
