Geez, Ray. Some Lincoln collector YOU are!

EVERYBODY knows that when 1909 comes around, they'll stop the Lincoln Cent series, then everybody will be killing each other to get at our Lincolns. Then we'll all sell our sets, make millions, and live in decadence until the end of our days.

So hang on to that 58-D. image

  • Don't need that one but if anyone needs a 58P in 67 make me an offer image

Rats, I was hoping it was a half eagle: 1858-D in MS-67, now that would be a coin!

  • Ray- Are you still doing the military thing overseas? When are you coming back? The rest of us sat here in the comfort of our homes while many families were split up while the soldiers were sent abroad for service to our country. I told you that I would help you out on a coin when you come back. I checked out your set...and see that I do have many coins that you could use. How about I send you/give you a 1951-S PCGS MS66RD (in a nice blue holder) to show my gratitude for what you have done for all of us ( I know it is a small gift...but it is the though that counts). My family and I are very grateful to those of you who have unselfishly given up time from your family to serve in the military overseas. I have just purchased a bulk of these at auction. Anybody else who wants one....I will sell for $30 delivered. Again Ray.....just tell me where you want the coin sent...and it is yours. Some people make promises and keep them, and I am one of them. Thanks again. Just PM me your address and the coin will be at your house within a week (as long as someone is there to receive it). Thanks, Marc Sickles (Kyle Patrick Collection)

    Dpoole,
You have a good point, I guess I am thinking of a way to support my Type set idea and that is literaly the most expensive coin I own.,...Sad isn't it...lol.

    Marc,
Thank you very much for your generosity, I do recall you mentioning you would take care of me when I returned, I believe you are a man of your word. I'll have to check to see if I need the 51-s, I do have quite a few 66RD's but took them out just before I left for Iraq...Now, I don't know what I have image A Man should not be sepparated from his coins!

It's crazy I tell you, CRAZY!

    lol, thank you all.
If I do decide to sell, I'll have some great pictures and you all will know about it.

    ttys,
    Ray
