I believe its the toughest K going. I have the only 9 and I know Steve and the King want it bad. The card comes back unholdered. I believe King and Steve both have had the same problem.

  • I just went through my three sets and I don't think I found anything that would get a nine. I've got one that is close but it's got the King's notch in the side.
Strong buyer of 1970 Kelloggs Football & 1971 Kelloggs Baseball and Football. Please help me find cards!
I have a few hundred extra PSA graded 1971 Kellogg's cards. E-mail for price list. Looking for 1970 Topps Supers in PSA 9 too.
  • i heard the only 9 had the king's cut just like the rest, true?

No notch on this card. Its so clean it could have been a 10

  • I've never had a Winfield with a notch or with significant centering problems. I probably have 15-20 cards (and more in unopened boxes) and the only flaw they all share is the miscut lower RH corner. No, a 10 isn't worth several Grovers, but I would pay a couple of Bens with perhaps some Andy Jacksons thrown in for one.

  • I have 5 unopened sets of both '81 and '82 K's. I thing a few from other years as well. Yes....it's true.

What are the issues with this Winfield and I'll see what I have. Are there any others from these sets that are tough? Maybe someone can give a K overview on the toughest cards/grade combo's.

  • I was just looking at the POP report for '81. Why are there so few Winfields graded as compared to the other cards?

Also, why don't any of you 3-d addicts collect 7-11 slurpee coins?

  • Wow! Must have read my mind! I was just think about beginning a Slurpee set as soon as I get my 1952 Topps set slabbed and after I finish negotiations for buying a PCGS PR66 1856 proof set (oops! Wrong board for that one.... )image
  • I have tons of these. Both football and baseball. Maybe we can start the first PSA set on the registry?
