I recently looked at this coin. It lives in my safe deposit box so I don't get to see it everyday. I think it is one of the finest MS 64 1907 Eagles graded by PCGS.
It is very lusterous. I think that is an old scan, I'll just have to bring it home for a proper photo.
OT: Hey Ken, did this help the cream to rise to the top?

I don't see a tick on that anywhere!
Super looking coin, original looking and all.

I too thought it should upgrade. It does have a hairline that doesn't show up on that scan. I sent it along with a 1907 quarter eagle to PCGS to see if they would upgrade. They did upgrade the quarter eagle to 65, but left this one alone at 64. It seems much nicer than most every Saint in 65 I see, but I guess you can't compare Libs and Saints. However it also seems nicer than every '07 Lib in 64 I've seen too, though I have only seen a couple others.
