When you say "know", is that in the biblical sense?

I bought some nice PSA cards from those guys in '99. If I'm not mistaken if you e-mailed them the seller replied back under the name of Art Vandelay which was a phony name George used on Seinfeld.

Funny that they use the name PSA CARD to sell PRO. I think his name is Avoidme Unlessyoureanidiot.

LOL...not in the biblical sense. Maybe vice versa though.

  • John,

Check his negs.Everything from trimmed Pro cards to outright taking money with no response as well as taking a month to ship.I would steer clear of this guy.

Please be kind to me. Even though I'm now a former postal employee, I'm still capable of snapping at any time.

Hey...$15 bucks for a PRO 10 1971 Topps Hank Aaron...how can you go wrong....just kidding.

According to their my ebay page...it looks like (in the past) they have sold some of the most desirable PSA cards ever graded....

    What happened?

  • Gimme a G-R-E-E-D

Pretty simple when you think about how could anyone sell cards they know are trimmed/altered to unsuspecting collectors?
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's about learning to dance in the rain.
  • Unless a seller has in the neighborhood of 10,000 to 15,000 feedbacks, I'd consider him unreliable with 40+ negative and 40+ neutral feedbacks.

Not to mention these cards are PRO graded. Any credible seller with half a brain would cross these cards over and maximize his value.

What's up with PRO? Are they like the black market of grading? Like a knock-off Rolex?
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
  • I wouldn't compare PRO to a knock-off Rolex; that would be giving them too much credit.

PRO is more like a $20 whor e. You only go to them when you have been rejected by the others. They give you what you want, but, in the end, your slab is always diseased.

PRO should offer a "shot of penicillin with every 10 cards graded" promotion . . .

  • I stand corrected by the good doctor.
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"
  • So, what you're saying is this psa-card chap once was an Ivory Snow model, and has now moved on to (ahem) doing other works?
  • I got this from the Lew Alcindor thread.

    << <i>I'll repeat my comment: neverpayfullprice.com, jodi-mo, psa-card, psa-card2 etc are all the same card doctor! >>

  • Has anyone on here ever ran into one of these PRO dealers at a show or something? I'd like to hear what they have to say about the product they deal. I'll bet no one has encountered these people in person, because when the light gets switched on they run like roaches.
  • Apparently Roastedcat bought something from him recently and was satisfied. Caramels, however, ripped him a new one.
  • I know him but not in the Biblical sense.

Don't walk away from this one.....run away! As fast as you can!

To repeat: neverpayfullprice.com, jodi-mo, psa-card, psa-card2, E-net collectibles, Gem Sports etc are all the same card doctor! His initials are G.M. and he's here on Long Island NY. His specialties are "trimmed", "altered" and "re-colored".

So what does this make PSA, SGC and GAI? $200 disease-free call girls? image

Referring to that 1971 Hank Aaron, I've seen straighter cuts on Isalys Discs.
  • I know I belly-ache all the time about eBay sellers not shipping outside the USA, but every now and then I feel very, very grateful.

I guess he must be worried about being ripped off by someone unscrupulous ... image
