Opening proof sets

Can anyone tell me the easy way to break open proof sets? Luskie

Grip both ends and give em a twist.........or take a pocket knife with a small blade and slowly crack the edge seal and work your way around it. They usually pop open pretty easily either way.

I slam an awl in near the center and pry. The big boys often use a two by four with
a notch in the end and twist. Whatever method you use be sure to wear safety glasses
as the plastic can travel at very high speed and is very sharp sometimes.

I prefer a bench vise- for both proof sets and slabs-its very controllable.

And yes, eye protection is a must!
