Your Favourite CC Coin

I have always found the CC mintmark to be kind of exotic. Conjures up pictures of the wild, wild west and is part of our heritage. Gold, silver, blast white or toned..........let's see your favourite piece!
This is an 1880-cc residing in an NGC ms64 holder.imageimage

100% agree, couldn't have expressed it better. No digital but I like my 1893-CC $20 Gold.

    Hadley

you sure know how to find the nice ones!

Are you going to Baltimore? If so I would love to see some of your toned Morgan in person. See table below where I will be

    thanks
  • My favorite personally owned CC piece is my GSA 80/79 rev 78 Morgan. Can't scan it, and it's nothing remarkable...typical baggy 62-63 GSA dollar... but I love it.

Thank you, jbsteven. I'm in San Diego so I can't make it to Baltimore, but will make it to the next Long Beach (with any luck). I would also like the chance to look through some of your pieces, you have posted some really nice ones.image

That's a pretty 80CC Hadley! Personally I like the DMPL CC's they're awesome. I've had a couple - but I've traded them away for other stuff - hopefully one of these days a nice MS66DMPL will come my way image

I've got some really nice GSA CC dollars but this 91-CC end roll toned piece is something special.

Great coins everyone! I'm working on a monster 91-CC Spitting Eagle, and if I can pry it away from it's home I'll show it to you all in Orlando at F.U.N. Thanks for sharing.

        Hadleydog,

Are you as pleased with the last Monster DMPL you got as you had hoped?
      • Russ,

        YKM!!! I like it, though.

I no longer own this coin but thought some of you would like to take a look. The coin was purchased in the GSA Sales, was broken out and is now graded by PCGS as MS66 PL

King ArtR and Hadleydog scored lovely Morgan Dollars.

I have always been attracted to the double mint mark.

Got a 1884 and 1885 CC Morgans in MS-66 DMPL, a Std Liberty Half 1877 CC

in MS-65 and thats about it. But I am always looking .
