I sent this coin to PCGS and it came back lower than I thought it would have. please post your opinion. after 10 postes i will give the actual grade that PCGS sent back. thanks.
Love the color, which of course generally hurts the luster, and I am not being mean, but that is a weak strike for what is generally a well-struck issue. A 65?
There's wear on all high parts - I wouldn't be surprised if it came back AU-58. The toning is nice though - however that can be deceiving. You'll find that out as you go along or ask you dad
Sean, study the coin and learn why it graded as it did, it will be a valuable education. See the discoloration on the Indian's cheek, braid, the flat spots on the buffalo's rump, shoulder, and top of it's head? Learn to recognize that in the future and ole' dad won't be pulling a fast on you again any time soon.

There is no wear on the coin at all. Solid MS64. No question about it.
