This is wierd - Pop report does not coincide with Reg Pops.

So from the registry it shows 13 coins higher in grade yet the POP report only shows 12. Is there a lag in the update of the Registry/ and/or the pop report?

You're right.

I noticed that aboout a month ago.

It does look as though the pop. shown in the registry sets is updated much faster than in the regular pop. report. Probably has to be manually inputted somewhere along the line?

When PCGS grades a coin the sender can check the grade on line according to the submission form number. The submitter then knows the grade before the coin's grade is placed on the registry in the appropriate set. About 3 to five days after it has been graded the coin appears on the registry. Depending on the day the population report is updated it may take a week after the grade of the coin is reported on the registry to find it way to the population report. Anyway, this has been my experience for several months.
