i'm bidding on a coin toilet seat, thanks for the find!

A few weeks ago i mentioned seeing a coin coffee table top and a coin toilet seat at a friends house back when i was a kid, well someone put me on to one for sale on ebay.

I always did want way to tell the poiticians what i think of them LOL !!!

I'm not the leading bidder yet, so i'll put in a last minute wipe, er, i mean snipe.

Could you please post that link again so others can see these politicians in there natural setting ?

    When I used to travel around. Nunnmakers coin shop in Elkhart, Indiana had one for sale real cheap. LIke about 15.00

    Coin toilet seat had all silver coins in it. Its been about a year and ahlf ago, but I bet he still has it?

    A local banker/president of an S&L bank in this region (indicted 15 or so years ago) had one of the biggest houses in the area. His bathroom toilet seat was made of glass with morgan dollars embedded in it. My brother, who helped do the census in the area in 1990 talked to the next owner of the house who told him the story (they had it removed).

    The last time that I visited one of the local plumbing fixture stores they had a seat with coins hanging on the wall.

    Actually, they wouldn't be that hard to make. I've made paperweights with coins in them before.

    The seller does say that the both nickels from 1964 are silver. This seat could be worth a fortune.image

    yes, i noticed that comment to, but i think that was an honest mistake of someone assuming that if silver coins stopped minting after 64 that nickles were silver in 64 to.

    this is one time when i'd prefer original white as opposed to golden brown toning, [i wouldn't even mind if it was dipped] in anticeptic that is, LOL.

    The owner did say it was never used, but that the nubs under the seat were missing.
