Somehow I just knew the seller would cancel this auction today.

This coin was bid only up to $155 with a couple hours to go.
Normal market value is $400 plus for it. I've been watching the coin since he listed it a week ago and knew that with those crappy images it wasn't going to go anywhere. I also knew that if it didn't, this seller would weasel out and cancel. Sure enough, he did.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.
The second mistake he made was selecting "error in the listing" as the reason, instead of "item no longer available".

I had this coin on auction but ended it early because another e-Bayer e-mailed me to tell me that according to PCGS this coin is valued at $800.00. I will start the bidding at 599.95 and see where it goes.
Current bid is $56.00 - maybe it's a reverse auction?

I find it hard to believe that someone took the time to say "You know that coin is worth $800 and you're selling it with no reserve?" First, I don't think he'll "get" $800 for it based on that picture (or any picture). Second, I would have to think more than a few coins on ebay are priced under PCGS price list and have no reserve. Does this guy think it's his duty to alert everyone on those, too? I'm completely unbiased on this one but he shouldn't be messin' with "my" coin.
