  • I love this time of the year. Its about the only time of the year that I can clean my coins. My secret? The piece of skin that is left after you fillet your trout. You need to use the side with the scales. They are just big enough to get the dirt and gunk off, but not tough enough to damage the coin.........Ken

    I imagine the slime helps keep down the abrasiveness of the micro scales.
