Today I purchased the wonderful 1897 Barber Half NGC PR-68 Ultra Cameo.

It is shown on the Anacondas web site under the half dollars. Enjoyimage

  • Hi Bear......Nice coin. My personal preferance is for monster toning......but that cameo gets my blood flowing too!

Just curious why it is still up on Adrians site, though? Always a chance someone might "buy-it-now" and there'd be a problem.

Joe, I love your toned Barber Half,

is it yours, or on your wish list?

Since I only purchased the Anaconda Coin a few hours ago, it may take him a bit to remove the

coin from the site. In any event I think that the picture of that coin really sharpens up Adrians site.

  • Bear....yep, it's been mine now about a year. Two years ago if you count from when i committed to it and a year of payments added in before i took delivery. (not as well healed as some).

I just can't seem to resist some of the best Adrian has to offer! He's "diabolical" with his offerings......must use hypnosis or something! A bit of a magician i think.......always seems to have coins appear as if by magic! (and then my money seems to DISAPPEAR!) LOL

Truth be told, some of my very best have come from him. Besides the 1915 PF68 NGC Eliasberg Barber Half, i have a 1827 MS66 NGC Bust Half that is toned to die for.......a nice PCGS MS64 1907 High Relief $20 St Gaudens flat rim.....a 1937-D MS64 NGC 3-leg Buffalo with fantastic rainbows both sides......and some others that i couldn't live without.

    Ahhhh.......so many coins-----------so few dollars!
