Well, while out and about today, I got 5 packs of 2003 Victory Baseball, 4 packs of 2003 Topps Bazooka Baseball (Hobby), 5 packs of 02-03 Upper Deck Basketball (retail), and 2 packs of 01-02 Upper Deck Inspirations Basketball.

From the Victory, I got:

Sammy Sosa Difference Makers (1:20)
Level 2 (1:8) parallels of Ken Griffey, Jr. and Tim Hudson

not too bad but I was mostly looking for the Matsui

OK here's the Bakooka:

Pack 1: oh f**k it This product is seriously CONFUSING! You got the slightly undersized cards, the cards with the colored-in "Bazooka" logo, the thick parallel cards, the thick parallel cards with the colored-in logo, the card with four mini-stickers on it, and the Bazooka comic card of Alfonso Soriano (with the colored-in logo... is that a parallel too!?) Well I did pull a bat card of Lance Berkman, so at least I understand THAT (well, there's the gum, which is simple enough )

I've pulled jersey cards from base UD retail packs, so I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss them. Plus, I got the Bryant insert, and since I collect Kobe, it wasn't all that bad

actually this year the retail UD series 1 and 2 have jordan cards that are only available in retail packs...plus some of the "gold" playbooks are only available in retail packs.....check the beckett..it says what is where...local shops here are gettin hobby and retail packs in because of the insertion that UD stated about the higher priced cards being in retail only packs
