Who do yall think will be this years rookie of the year? I think every one assumes its between Yao Ming and Amare Stoudamire, both putting up awesome numbers and helping out their teams. Whos yalls pick?

    drew gooden has been on fire lately, but he was flat in the beggining of the season w/ the grizz, and butler wont get it cause hes missed alot of games but hes a great player

    i disagree, this years class is better than the last two years...although i cant find more reasons to explain lol...but yeah...this years class is better.

    also...amare and yao will share it image

    I'm going with sm33nsacity's "only other possibility" (Yao and Amare sharing ROY honors). Amare is putting up better, more consistent numbers, but Yao is the "sexier" (hold up... I mean sexy like a stock would be sexy, not sexy like yo mama thinks she is image ) pick. If it's not split honors, one couldn't even fit Calista Flockhart between the margin of difference image

    Yao should win this. He is goin to be pretty dominant. This rookie class is the best since 96-97. Yao, Gooden, and Amare will get all the votes. Yao will win by alot though.

    I think Yao won the rookie of the year trophy the second he was drafted. There is so much riding on this guy with all the millions of new viewers he is drawing that the NBA will probably just give him the trophy so they celebrate back home. It will mean alot more to Yao Ming than to Amare because a whole country is backing Yao.

    I think Yao will win it 100%, even if Amare puts up better numbers. As for the other guys, Drew Gooden Butler etc, they are not even in the picture even though they are great players.
