The coin show in Fort Wayne OFCC (Old Fort Coin Club)

Well we had our spring show and in my opnion it was a big success. This is the first year where it was very difficult to get to the tables. You usally had to stand and wait for 10 or 15 minutes to get a body sized spot to check anything out. I talked to some of the dealers I know and they all said it was way better then they expected and that they were making alot more money then they expected. This was the first tyear that one of the dealers actually had supplies for sale. Dam that took my idea for next year. But that dealer was doing some very good business.

It was a mix of coins nothing that really stood out, and actually the gold seamed to be a little on the slim side this show. Lots of modern stuff lots of state quarter stuff. I only counted 9 ACG slabs now either that means people are holding them or they have all been released from their plastic jail.

So all in all I would call the show a big success here is a thought maybe just maybe we can have it somepleace other then the fair grounds if we keep growing image but thats just a thought.

Sounds like it was a successful show BUT was your town invaded by a Mary Kay Cosmetics convention? image

You obviously missed the dealer with two tables along the west wall. He is an ACG dealer and normally about 90% of his material is ACG slabs. This time it was down to 50% with the rest being made up of his own slabs encapuslated through the ACG private label program. There were plenty of other ACG slabs on the floor as well although I will admit that they were down from what they have been in the past.
  • LOL like I said it was busy image I could see the acg slabs . LOL I couldnt see much. But thats a good thing in this case. WOW that sounded like Martha Stewert image0 Believe it or not i didnt get a chance to see the tables on the west side of the building.
