Me for one catching up on some threads from yesterday! Stinking alarm in the car went off just after midnight, and haven't been able to get back to sleep. My two young ones will bee up soon just to add fuel to the fire!!

Been up more or less all night thinking about the very strange meeting i was told to attend with my former boss yesterday, seems instead of keeping me listed as an employee so i could retain my health insurance untill my disability claim gets proccessed, he decided to "help me" in the next 2 weeks by officially firing me after 17 and a half years so i can qualify for unemployment, yeah right, helping me is his motive B.S.

If the disabilty private insurance claim isn't proccesed by the time of my official termination date the human resources person told me i'd loose
it.

But at least i can come here and look at pretty coins in the wee hours of the morning, but i think it's time for me to get drunk now.

Tell your human resources person they are wrong. If your disability meets the carrier's definition, then your claim will process and benefits will be paid.

Your boss is a jerk!

Sounds like Barberlover needs to talk to a good personal injury lawyer....

Barberlover and I are in the same boat! The St. of Fla. keeps passing new laws to help the insurance companies and employers, while the injured employee is sucked into the whirlwind of wait and see. Everything you have worked for is gone and you can't afford to do crap!
We are drowning in pain and the lawyers and insurance companies keep throwing us anchors!!!
