I'm going to try to cross NGC-70 coins to PCGS-70

I know this is going to be a waste of time and money but I'm going to try it anyway. The dealer I work part time for has about 100 2003 1/4 oz gold eagles graded MS-70 by NGC. I'm going to go through them and pick 10 coins and send them in to PCGS for cross over. My guess is that they will not cross any over but I'm going to try anyway. A fool and his money is soon parted and today I feel like I could be the poster boy. Will let everyone know in a month what happens.

Just give them to David Hall at the next show where he's at the PCGS booth.. he can take them into the grading room himself and tell the graders "See what you can do"..
- John Wayne, "The Shootist" (1976.. his final film)..
Joe
Repeat to yourself, silently of course, "miracle submission, miracle submission, etc.."
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Jay,
PCGS definitely won't cross a 70 by any service. That has been stated somewhere in the past. Only way to attempt it would be to crack them first, and then you risk them still coming back a grade less. Best to keep them in the NGC holders, since there is still a premium above the 69 grade, even if not as steep as the PCGS premium.
