I am sure no members of this august body ever watches something as low brow at The Simpsons....luck for you... I do. (when I am not busy proofreading "Scientific America" of course.)
Sunday's episode included Krusty the Clown getting elected to the US House of Representatives to become Congressman Krusty (insert your own joke here about Sen. Strom Thermund). In his first committee meeting, Krusty introduces a bill for an issue he campaigned on only to be told that as a freshman congressman he would not get on any important committees. When he asks what does the one committee his is on does, Krusty is told.... "We're the committee to design a new dollar coin no one will use" As Krusty laments his situation, another committee members is heard saying "Chocolate! Let's make them out of chocolate. That's the only way kids will want them."
Oh well, back to margin editing the Vatican's Latin translation styleguide.
