1892-S Morgan?????

Hey guys,

I'm pretty new at this and really respect your ideas and opinions on this forum. I have a 1892-S Morgan that is somewhere between a AU55-58.

What would be the close value of this coin? Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

A good way to get an idea of retail prices is with the CU Price guide. Now, don't expect them to sell for that price, though...

I'm tryin to get my pics uploaded, but there is a 50kb size limit, and I can't seem to figure out how to adjust them to make them that size.....

Assuming it's problem free and accurately graded....wholesale is probably around $1300, give or take on the quality

I'll say high EF on details....I think it might be cleaned.

For the price you paid for the coin, it might be worth sending it to ANACS if you're interested at all in slabbing.

attractive & original vf-30. needs full separation of sideburns from the forehead to make xf.

It probably wouldn't get graded, it'd get bagged because it looks cleaned, lightly sometime ago, but noticeable. JMO.

edited to add, I grade it a VF-35 details.

I agree that it's a VF coin, but I don't agree that it has been cleaned (the detail of the pic isn't fine enough to make that judgement).
