They have done more to help the hobby thena anyone company in the last 17 years.

If there are some problems, and i think there are, then lets deal with them without giving up, or tanturums or name calling. P.c.g.s. has done so many good things for this hobby [yes i know it's an industry to] this is not a time to run away.

Lets address ligitamit disagreements without bashing someone for disagreeing, lets be clear that most people do not want looser standards they want the same standards all the time, lets not scare away begining collectors by turning legitamit dissagrements into petty cat fights. Can we agree to disagree without dissing the point of veiw of someone that disagrees with you with out a "holyer-than-though responce"? barberlover

I agree. As in anything you take the good the bad and the ugly. On balance ,PCGS

has done more good then bad. Yes, they confuse us with changes in grading philosophy,

irritate uswith long delays, anger us , but still they continue to do more good then bad.

People just want the easy grades. when a company tightens up on their standards they get mad. Whine asses thats all they are. Now I do agree that the standards should have been tight all along. I for one am currently going through coins to pick out 8 that I think will get me good grades. yes I do realize that they arnt all going to be MS70 or Pr70 so what thats the way the grading game goes. You dont always get what you want and you dont stop playing the game.

If people wernt so accustomed to instant gratification this wouldnt be happening. All I can say is if you send in cons to be graded and you arnt happy with them send them my way . I will give them a good home they will always be loved.

As for people abandoning PCGS let them if they feel PCGS slighted them then thats their problem. I for one will stick with PCGS.

Hey if they feel bad about the grades PCGS gives out then let them go to ACG they always give high grades out. No matter what the coins look like

........maybe we all are just showing the signs of cabin fever. there is scientific proof that lack of sunshine affects mood and general disposition. while i truly love the change of seasons, late winter always leaves me thinking that i've been overcharged for the colors of autumn. but, as in all things, hope springs eternal------and now only 3 weeks away!!!! freedom from the mouse pad, snow free highways to coin shows and open doors and windows!!!
