Sorry Bear they don't let you snatch the page as easy. So I uploaded through the board and had to make it a little smaller. Bears Barber half from Pinnacle Rarities. Bear I will let you describe it for the forum.

    bear, i have to say i don't like this half but you've been on a buying spree lately so big i am jealous!!! also i would be interested to here your thoughts on the 1897 proof 66 cam barber half at larry whitlows [i think it's yummy]

    The/our image is, unfortunately, pretty poor. The coin looks grainy and dull but it is actually bright, deeply mirrored and quite flashy.

    Actually the picture does not do justice to the coin. It is free from any defects,

    the mirrors are deep and free from any haze or toning. The cameo effect is compleate smooth

    and quite lovely. While I prefere PCGS graded coins, I discussed this coin at length with CoinGuy,

    Mark feld, and we both agree that it is a premium coin for the grade stated.

    Do you think the bear would purchase a coin that was less the drop dead beauty.imageimage
