Why not a 20th Century Major Design Type Set - WITH Gold?

Type Sets

It seems like a complete type set of all the major designs is in order. There are sets with gold, proof or business and gold only but why no combination of them all?

I don't understand why it's not a PCGS set?

  • I remember that. Wasn't there a small mix of Type gold and American Eagles before it changed or was only the Libs?

Go across the street to the NGC registry & you will find what you want.

Before the Type sets were weighted, the main 20th Century set allowed proof or MS coins, and consisted of most of the pieces that Relayer suggests for a combined set.

The Registry crew broke up the set into two components, and several of us begged for the set to remain combined, but we were told that PCGS would take a wait and see approach. So we started a campaign to get as many set holders to register their gold as possible.
