Superior Galleries....AGAIN.....2nd Post

Well......I posted a thread a few days ago about the lack of customer service at Superior. They have really made me mad now. I sent in a Mail Bid sheet for the recently completed auction. I bid on 5 coins. I then sat at my computer and watched it live. From the looks of things......I assumed I had won 2 lots. I had bid $525 for a lot which ended the bidding at $475....and a few lots later......a lot went for $375 for which I had bid $475. I kept thinking this is my lucky day! Everytime in the past I had ever won a lot from Superior....it was for my MAXIMUM bid!! Funny how that works.....isn't it? They are only supposed to bid up to your final bid if necessary...but I always got it for my Maximum. That ever happen to you....over and over again...whenever you won a lot from Superior? Anyway.....I was so happy.....as I really wanted those 2 coins.....and would have been pleased to get them for my Maximum Bid. Well....I finally was able to get someone to talk to me today.....and they said that I won NO LOTS!!!
Worse yet........they say then never got my Bid Sheet (or at least they couldn't find it)!! Well......I am not sure what to think....since I had sent it in plenty of time. I have sent out literally hundreds and hundreds of coins to people over the last few years.....and there had never been even ONE lost.....NEVER! But those guys.....have bid sheets.......faxed sheets......and Ebay bids all over the place. They had me talk to a few different people....and each one said the other one should have it....but they never did. Absolutely Freakin' Unbeilavable....isn't it? I am REALLY REALLY Torqued about this! The worst part is......I am out 2 coins......at good prices....that I should have in my collection right now. Just wondering if anybody else got screwed?

Two things, one of which will hopefully make you feel better:
1) Even if your bids had been executed, it is entirely posssible that the winning bidders would have still outbid you. We will never know, so just tell yourself such was the case and don't feel badly about things.
2) Always confirm receipt of bids (and other important communications) when you send them, so that things like this don't happen!

In memory of BL, SM, and KG. 16 and forever young, rest in peace.
They always spend several dollars to send me an auction results catalog in a red white & blue Priority Mail mailer for auctions that I didn't even bid in. Makes you wonder.
Be careful, they have a psycho salesman named Pooterloosly or something like that who will act like a crybaby & send you threatening emails when you want customer service.
TRUTH
do not contact them anymore for anything lots more coins and fish in the sea at other places
also thanks for the heads up about them and their customer service
i will definately cross them off of my list for future contact in buying or selling to them!
or consinging items for auction! sounds like they are not getting top bids executed even when buyers send in their bid sheets! wow............... sounds like a deal for all the consigners !!
