Wow - $11.5K NTC coin in a "name" ad

Just noticed an 1871CC Seated dollar NTC XF-45 at $11,500 in HLRC's ad in the latest Coin World. Listed with "sharpness of an AU". Gotta wonder why anybody put a coin that expensive into an NTC holder....... Probably just wanted to save $20 on the grading fee...........

    it may have mild altered surfaces(mild cleaning hairlines) and would get bagged elsewhere....

    I wonder if they can get a buyer for that coin. It will never sell at that price.

    Funny, the last NTC coin I looked at had the "sharpness of an AU" too. It was in an MS-64 holder.
