Whats the point of building a complete registry set if you won't even post the pics ?

If anyone takes the time to complete a registry set of a certain series isn't part of the joy of accomplisment pics of your completed set ?
I understand for security reasons why some forum members wouldn't reveal email addresses or leave there pm functions off, but why would someone complete a finest known set of barber halves and not post the pictures of them? Maybe the Doc. is afraid i'll druel all over them !!!

The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

I have other sets of MS & PF 69 Moderns and they all look alike so it's not worth the trouble.

I hear this so often but I don't get it. Targets for theft are NOT picked at random. I would guess 99.99% of coin thefts are indside jobs. I do understand people who don't reveal information because some dealers insist on spamming and annoying people and can't take no for an answer.
After all, would you want to show the world your $39,100 1963 PR70 cent had carbon and white spots on it? Much better to let the public keep guessing.
-I've spent the last week posting PHOTOS on each of my half dozen or so Registries. It really is a project and I can't blame those who put it off for another day.
Certainly there are many Registries though that would be enhanced with photos.
I'd love to see the number one sets of Roosevelts and Kennedies and even Ikes in Mint State.

I will personally say, though, that the locked sets are a complete waste of time, and the ones without pictures are a great disappointment. I really would like to see other people's gems and findings--like the half dime michael just posted here today!

That certainly made a lot of sense.
I have pics posted of every coin in every set. But, it's something I enjoy and I have access to the technology to do so. It's also a lot of work, and I can certainly understand why many don't do it. As Bear said, not everyone has the equipment or knowledge.

Wow. What a grouch.
That's like entering a beauty contest, and saying what I look like is none of your business!

I agree! But the registry concept is designed to show off. Hiding defeats the purpose.
Sort of like going to the Dr. and refusing to remove your clothes.

Why not? I do it all the time!

The pics I would really like to post are the beautiful NGC coins that PCGS refuses to cross!!!
