Perhaps this has already been mentioned in this forum, but you can read in this thread that dom just passed away. I remember him as a great guy and a true collector. He will be missed.

    Reading "Mrs. Dom's" post certainly does bring it all into focus. I think we're far too serious sometimes and often fail to enjoy the really valuable things in life....friends and family.

    Very sad news, I had spoken with him many times on Morgan dollars and some of his pieces, and he was a very nice man and also knowledgeable, very sad news indeed.
