Happy to add to your "Battle Bucks", Nick. You're going to need them if you're battlin' Mitch!
Looking forward to recieving a "Monster" Roosie from you.
Thanks, Craig, for your assists with my "Hat-Trick"!

Monster Toned Roosies and
Godfather of Roosies. I just pulled out the 48S and now I know why it was in my keepers box. I have a 48S in PCGS MS68,
NGC MS68 and another one in NGC MS67*. Other then the one you won being a one sided toned coin it is technically better
then any of the other 3 I have. I should have left all those dimes in my keepers box instead of puting them on eBay. Its the
only one of the 4 that has full split reverse bands. If at anytime within the next decade you wish to return it I would be more
then happy to refund all your money.
Don, How about I just buy it back from you now. I'll give you $155 right now for it. The offers good for 2 days. Thats a 15%
profit over night. What do ya say.....All I need to see is the words done deal.

Anyone else here beginning to sense Nick is "spinning his wheels" and starting to "get sloppy" now the the heat has been turned on?

I don't know Mitch, That last phrase leads me to believe you might be getting a little worried, I'm just a lowly little
collector trying to battle one of the big boys..... Is it me or is it getting a slight touch warmer around here!!
Well, at least there is truth to 1/3 of your representations Wondercoin.

Especially now that you (Mitch) know I'm lurking and digging around. It was easy when I was able to sneak up behind you...
Not any more!!!
Thanks for the offer, but I'd prefer the dime.
'48 happens to be my wife's and my birth year. Craig already fixed me up with sweetly toned P & D mints(PCGS MS67), and this one will complete the threesome. I hope to get it in a PCGS holder and, from what I've heard, that should be no problem.
Get that puppy in the mail! LOL
I guess I need 2 Frankies now(plus Linckies & Jeffies)!

Don,
I've yet to see an NGC "STAR" coin that wasn't fantastic! That's a great score on this 48-S and I bet you'll like it even more upon its arrival.
Nice.
little hard on one sided toned coins.

might be able to come out of this with a free coin..

I'm surprised, Mitch, that you didn't bid on the coin, or even that you two didn't get together before Nick listed them.
As you stated, Mitch, Nick's idea does make sense...if I was buying the plastic. Heck, I'd be savin' on crossing fees, to boot! But I brought up both coins for comparison, and there doesn't seem to be any.
The NGC coin seems to have much greater eye-appeal (not to mention that Nick said as much). I think I'll stick with the Roosie soon to be in hand. Thanks for the "good feeling" 'bout the coin!
Of course, Mitch, if you had a nice MS67 Washington (say a '48-S) that you would accept a trade on...
Thanks for your input, Craig & Pat. They played a part in my decision makin'.

I was just having some fun - and stranger things have happened. One day, your MS67* could be an MS68!

Some of my most prized Roosevelt's including the ultimate 1946 NGC MS69* have all originated from colorfulcoins.
Nick
issued because they were percieved to be common and such a set could always
be assembled "later". Now half a century "later" we are finding that the coins were
not set aside. Clads would be even tougher if not for the rapidly disappearing mint
sets.
Thanks again, Craig and Nick.
