Question for dealers with shops; why don't you have weekend hours ?

Android, first off thanks for the info. on the dealer downtown [i'll check it out on my next weekday off] Now, how did you [dealers only please] come to the decision that having some weekend hours wasn't practical anymore [like it used to be] If you've got a brick and mortar coin shop don't you realize that adults have jobs, and kids go to school on weekdays and would rather make there trips to the coinshop without having to do so right from work or right from school if your not right near work school or home? I'm tired at the end of a hard days work and i want to go home & rest. Perhaps if the dealer that Android mentioned to me in my area i would have already discovered [and spent some money with him] if he had week end hours. barberlover
The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

    I am sure the coin dealers feel the same way if not more!image If they worked on weekends when would they have time off?

    they could be closed sunday & monday & be open saturdays, many retail sole prop. do that

    they can do what coin dealers used to do hire help for week ends, and i'n not talking 7 days a week, but naybe 4 or 5 hours on saturday.

    the shop i go to is closed fri. sat. sun. and Mon. He goes to shows every weekend and gets his coins ready on fri, he is at the show sat. and sun. then on mon. he cleans up the shop, prices new coins and puts coins back into his inventory. Yes it is annoining when i want to go to the shop and it's closed witch is usually always because it is an hour and a half drive to get there.

    Gosh darn it!!!! I agree. And why don't coin shops have drive through windows, I want to buy my coins fast, and supersized. And why don't coin shops have 24 hour service, sometimes I want to buy a coin at 2 o'clock in the morning. And why don't coin shops have home delivery, sometimes I am cutting my toenails and can't be disturbed, but need to buy coins. And why don't coin shops have naked ladies dancing on the counters. Yea!! Why not!!!!
