It lists as a Pop 1 coin, so yours is likely #2. Nice find. image

Nice Job and I see the Denver Mint has some quality issues compared to Philidelphia.

    Received date?

PCGS received the Package on the 3rd of this month. I got an email today saying the grades were available online. I expect the coins next week. So, that is pretty fast service, I chose the Modern coin submission level. mdwoods

It is a Pop 2 coin now. I had purchased the previous Pop 1 coin last month. Perhaps I should drill a hole in the new one to keep the Pop down.

I would, but I'd probably get a dirty look from the clerk who had to deal with a dollar coin, with no spot for it in the till. mdwoods

    Don,

MD already knew how it felt to have a pop 1 coin, he just made it a pop 2 coin and may have lowered the value of a coin he already owned.

Since you have 2, you should crack one out and submit it along with a bunch of others and see if they graders are good enough to find it again.

Did those SAC's come from rolls, mint sets or bags?

This idea needs to be brought to the top just on principle.

  • What's the plan? Sell it now or wait a while to see what the market does? There is some moon money to be made on this one I'll bet.
