    It must have a ton of hairlines not visible in the scan to only grade pr 60. This coin illustrates the problem trying to grade proof coins from a scan. The scan certainly looks better than a pr 60.

    I like that coin.......looks to me like it could have gotten a CAM on the grade. Would like to see a real closeup of it too...

    The problem with PF-60 silver coins is that the hairlines and other impairments really stand out on brilliant coins. I'd rather get one that was toned so as to hide the impairments (if I were buying on a budget) or step up and pay the extra money to get a PF-63. In fact, I'd rather have one with one minor scratch that kept it from being slabbed as long as the fields weren't hairlined.

    That just goes to show you that buying and selling based on scans alone is NOT "sight-seen" trading.
