Would like to hear what everyone really knows about the PCGS grade guarantee. Who
does this guarantee apply to? Are you sure?

i've used the grade guarantee and it works. if you have a coin which you believe to be overgraded, the best thing to do is to call PCGS customer service and ask for instructions about submitting it for review and possibly someone to direct the coin to. then remain in contact with that person. as to the topic of undergraded coins, you always have the option of submitting for a regrade. as common sense would dictate, both of these apply to a coins owner whether they were the original submitter or purchased the coin already holdered. if you have any questions feel free to PM me or better yet, call customer service at PCGS. heck, that's part of their job, answering questions!!!

Ditto.
Here's what I know about the guarantee.

I'll be surprised if they don't jump at the chance to do something with that coin.

Huh? *lol* I hope you got "her" name!

-- inept buffoons!!
<< <i>That statement makes it sound like PCGS wants to keep crap with their name on it out in the marketplace! >>
No, it makes it sound like their balking at the guarantee.
I've got a coin in review right now and I can't wait for the results. The coin has been harshly cleaned. PCGS has body-bagged a couple of my coins that are in far better shape than this coin. If I receive "the call" as I know I will (e.g., the coin has been cleaned just not harshly cleaned), I'm going to do the following:
1. Fill a complaint with the better business bureau.
2. Fill a complaint in Orange County small claims court.
I will use my coins that have been body bagged as evidence. Can't wait -- just try me.
