Silver Kennedy from board member. Oh Russ!!! Your name is being mentioned!!!

I got this Bi-centennial Half from Keith Dagen a few months ago. Superb, in hand it looks almost as nice as a 1998 S SMS Kennedy half.
It is not toned, that's just my inept photography. mdwoods

Thanks LucyBop. Now if I could just find a nice 67FBL Franklin, I would be so happy. At least until I started itching for a new coin.image

If you ever send one to Russ, send it postage due. I have a new shiny credit card, I think I'll go bid on some of his auctions...

Geez, even your spending money is plastic. When does it end?

md, it looks slabbed, might i inquire as to its grade? Nice coin.

Lucy, wait a minute; there were no credit cards back in the 50's! How 'bout meeting me at the A & W drive-in for a frosty rootbeer. I have a '62 Frankie Pr67 U/C that would like to meet you.

Oops, I think I just highjacked a thread. Sorry.

It is slabbed PCGS MS68. I have bought 3 or 4 real nice coins from Keith. mdwoods

That one's a beaut. I like it, and I'm not normally a fan of the business strikes.

You know, NumisEd, when you don't understand the inside joke you probably ought to keep your comments to yourself.

Sorry, Russ. I once again forgot that this was the "I Love Lucy" show. If you had a Cuban accent, your show would be in syndication by now.

Of course, to your question NumisEd.
  • NumisEdNumisEd Posts: 1,336
Riddler, may I ask, which coins do you like?
Roosies, Frankies, or perhaps just an IKE?
  • "NumisEd NumisEd, am I like thee,
I also don't like slabs as coins need to be free,
Roosies, Franklins and Ikes are find and dandy,
but seated coinage, is like eye candy."
  • NumisEdNumisEd Posts: 1,336
I just knew that there was something about you that I liked! But, I still owe you a riddle:

Riddley, tiddley, what's that comment you made?
You don't like slabs? Even Accugrade???

I love to handle my coins, for all to see."

Sorry Riddler. The threads were great revelations of the sorry business practices, foul language and horrible interpersonal skills of one of Ebay's very worst sellers. I take great pride that he has been exposed. I'm exceptionally happy that some unwary Ebay buyers will now just pass his auctions by knowing of his past ripoffs.

Oh funny Riddler with your silly lookin' hat,
39 years old, in NOT an old bat

Yet, you are correct, grumpy I may be,
but at least we agree.....coins should be free.

(I hope nobody else is reading this thread. If you are, we are just joking. Ed)

Man MD, that's a beautiful coin. I don't see anything to even think about any grade lower than a 67.
Appreciate you sharing that with us.
