One of my local coin dealers called me today and told me I had to check out some toned coin they picked up today ( I buy most of my toned from them )
Its a 1954 unc Beauty Album toned i hope to god you can see the tone. The majority of the color is the aswsome magenta blue red to a very light orange. Also as you can see there is also nice rim toning on thee obv . Mostly magenta and orangish.
hahahah i hope lucybop drooollllllssssssss over this one no its not a proof but just a beautiful.
This coin is in my posession. I see that the pic show the magenta and then to a yellow brown color. Thats not how it goes it is a very subtile gradient from magenta to blue, red, to light orange. THis is the first toned franklin i have seen . and as far as full bell lines idont know il post a pic of the obv so you can see.

The piece looks very nice - looks to be a high end 64 to me, unfortunately it doesn't look like the bell lines will make it. Not unusual for this date I'm afraid. 53P was horrible, and 54P just a hair better. The bell lines didn't start getting better definition again till 55-59, and then the master die was re-worked and the bell lines faultered after that. Very pretty coin!
