PR70 Question

I have been going through some modern proofs in which I am going to send in for grading. There are some very minor flow lines on proof coins that radiate from the center of the coin as the coin is formed by the dies. These very short lines may only be a few 0.001s long, but they are there. Some coins exhibit many of these lines and some coins only a few or almost none. Do these flow lines caused by the metal moving during the coining process knock a coin down to PR69? Are they considered as coined? I have tried asking this question on the Q&A board for weeks, but for some reason David won't respond. I eagerly await the knowledge of those in the know!

Hmmmmm......... interesting Bear! My 1964 PCGS PR70 Kennedy had great mirrors but flow lines were evident both obv/rev. A number of the 1964 PR69 I have are IMHO better strikes than the 70 but have more obvious flow lines.......... figured that was the reason they didn't get the nod to 70 but always wondered since they were quite visible on the 70 also. Then again PCGS is supposedly buying my PR70......... and to think I believed it was because of all the nasty spots that had developed on it.
