Deb's Saved the Best for Last........ (or so I think.)

She has lots of GOLD COINS for sale. I'm rather surprised as I thought she had gone thru everything and now to come up with all of these. Amazing. Too bad I can't afford to collect them. Looks like some nice pieces.

Poor Old Harold's Collection on eBay

PS She was ill recently but is doing much better now.

I think this must be about the 10th time he/she/it has saved the best for "last". Harold's a stubborn old coot. He just keeps rising from the dead to add to his collection.

Deb is truly amazing. First, she can tell us that her 1911-D St. Gaudens has "exceptionally beautiful flash to it (and) smashing cartwheel luster ...". Here she sounds like an accomplished numismatist. I rejoiced, because I thought everyone could use her as a shining example of the ability to teach an old dog new tricks. But then poor Deb, in her next line notes that her coin was "printed at Denver". Alas, it looks like kindly old Deb isn't quite as knowledgable as she initially sounded.

Of course, an alternative explanation might be someone who knows numismatics, say a dealer, who is trying to pull a fast one by posing as a sweet old, innocent lady struggling to get by after her soul mate left this veil of tears to move on to a better world.... Nah, that can't be the case!

    Boy, what great entertainment!

And am I glad that those "golden" coins are "new" or "nearly new"! There's nothing I hate more than a "used" coin!

Boy, the people on this Forum are sure a mistrustful and cynical lot. image

I suppose when Old Deb comes up with some 2003 coinage, from long deceased hubby,

that you will say there is the smoking gun.

That is a very large crowd of very happy customers. It is painfully obvious that no one is being taken advantage of by this seller. You all should move on, regardless of the story.
