Rick Tomaska - he'll cost you money now or later

Snipe attempt

I had a nice coin for $103 and nobody bids until Rick puts it up to $177 with 25 seconds to go, which gave him enough time go another $5.

So his snipe attempt cost me $81 but I'm still ahead because probably would have sold it to me later for $350

They've been working eBay for material quite a bit lately. They were also in on this 1983 PR70DCAM Kennedy.

Isn't "deeppcameocoin" one of the R&I cronies? I thought Rick himself used "ultimatecameocoin". I guess he may also be "dcc" and "ultimatecoin", but al three of these names are on the website. Rick has always answered the "ucc" handle.

the Kennedy Proof at the bottom of the last page certainly seems out of place!

I'm afraid to ask if teh other nine pages are new merchandise! image

    LOL...

I think it's a reference to your new icon Lucy.
  • Relayer- On a relative basis, stepping up to the 68 was a much better buy. image

    '63 PR-68 DCAM

Your purchase was near the high end for an Ebay coin. The PR-68 DCAM went well below the low end for an Ebay coin. Any guesses who bought the coin for a bargain price? Correct, deepcameocoin for a paltry $355! I should have been at the computer for that one and the 1961. What an absolute steal!

    1961

    Enjoy your new acquisition! image

  • DCAM-

Mine was high - I bought another 1957 67DC a couple months back for $150. The 1961 68DC was another steal. Poor Nick.

    Oh well, woulda, coulda, shouda...

Lucy - you change your icon more that Russ posts.

  • Relayer- An awesome steal on that '57! To me that is one of the strangest Franklins. When you compare the populations and the prices for that date to some of the other comparable dates, it is grossly overvalued on the CU guidelines. However, to get a PR-67 DCAM for a paltry $150, that is a monster buy. Way to go! image
