  • I used to write software with a guy named Bill Hall. I doubt it is the same character, but you never know! At the time I knew my Bill Hall he didn't care about coins.

David Hall, Monte Hall, Detention hall, Deck the halls. Bill Hall? Maybe they're all related.
Seriously, some people are really private. They privately buy and collect coins, get them home
and sit there and just look at their coins over and over and get a real kick out of it, but nobody knows who they are until they sell. To me, that's wierd.

  • Now why is that wierd? I collect the coins so I can look at them. I don't collect them so YOU can look at them. Text Like you said, some people are private and don't want to be bothered by the sorts that send them e-mail offering them coins or trying to buy them from them (yes, I confess, I've done that before, but I'm recovering). I wish I could display them all over my house so I could look at them in my domain. But alas.....I have to store them in a safe and pull them out when nobody is around and spread them all over the floor and gaze for hours. OKAY, OKAY....I guess I am wierd.
  • The reason I was asking is that we just made a 1998 Silver Washington Quarter in PR70 DCAM PCGS. It is a pop two coin and thought he might be interested.

I knew a Bill Hall, too. He was a country boy who lived way out in the sticks, wore overalls without a shirt underneath, drove a primer-colored pickup truck with different-colored doors, and chewed Red Man.

Somehow, I've got a hunch we aren't discussing the same guy. image

Hey, I saw Bill Hall just the other day but he was in such a hurry I didn't get a chance to tell him that someone was looking for him. He'll be around soon.
