From one of those $9.99 assorted pack things I bought from Target (of all places) there was a HTA pack of 2001 Topps Finest that just happened to contain the second most valuble card in the release:

2001 Finest Moments Autograph of Barry Bonds, BV $150 image

I caught it from behind; I saw the name on the back of the card and then saw that little sticker image The turnaround resulted in a very wide smile that's still on my face image

BTW it's up for trade but it'll take one (or two at the absolute most) nice auto'd cards that book at least the same and have similar draw on Ebay. Speaking of which... image

    Actually, it was retail in the fact I bought it from Target, but it was actually a HTA pack of 2001 Finest. There's still one more of those baseball multipacks with the 2001 Finest HTA pack; maybe I'll buy it and see if lightning can strike twice image

    Great pull;that is a nice card for sure! We pulled a Joey Harrington
    Auto RC from ome of those 8 pack mini boxes of Topps Debut that we bought from Target a couple of months back.
    Seems to go in cycles with luck from those cheapy boxes.We do so so when we buy them sometimes but other times we'll get a good hit.Congrats on your awesome pull.

    Yeah,retail seams to be better than hobby as far as packs go.I've never gotten anything like you guys but I've pulled some pretty good high-end inserts and RC's from my local Walmart(at half the price of hobby).I'm hoping we'll get a Target here soon.The only place around here that has those $9.99 boxes is Kmart.But it's about 40 miles away,so I don't get there that often.

    lol yeah now even retail packs are 3 bucks a pack...
    i pulled a sweet jersey dual card of antoine walker/ Chris webber for authentix and nice inserts and a raheem 66/100
    so its been great. but sooooooooooo bad at times
