actually 10-3, gotta love the effort of the D...unbelievable Warner sacked 8 times..picked 2 times..one for a TD...Feeley did't play to bad, yeah he didnt get any TD's but he didn't make any mistakes and thats the key. Bring on the Seahawks

bulger has a hand injury and was listed as the # 3 QB for the game...Warner looks like he doesn't have the zip of old...must be the hand bothering him...couldn't believe some of the shots the Eagles gave him...Their defense was awesome

mcnabb will be back for the beginning of the playoffs, detmer might be back next week. so we are good for the rest of the season, and once nabbs is back, we'll take out whoever we play after our bye

Wow, you were able to shut down Kurt Warner, like every single team has done this year. You must be so proud. But I guess if so are so proud of the Eagles and that they are so great, you would have to then agree that McNabb is not the MVP since they are sooooooooooo good without him right?

zimmy- u r a moron. mcnabb is the better qb. but it shows the rest of the team can step up around them and still win. mcnabb doesnt have a chance at mvp this yr anyway because he's injured. vick will probably win it now.

i don't dislike the Eagles...But in my opinion I don't think McNabb is as good as you think....42-3 with McNabb in there? I definately don't think so...McNabb is better than Feeley yes, but to say that much better is ludacris....McNabb=Overrated, I love the Eagles D, but McNabb does = OVERRATED...I mean they are 8-3 with McNabb...2-0 without him and they beat Rams and 49ers!!! I mean *DAMN* why you think McNabb is so good? I know Peyton Manning, Michael Vick, Jay Fiedler, Drew Bledsoe, Chad Pennington, Brett Favre, Tom Brady, Rich Gannon, and Jeff Garcia are basically all better than McNabb...and Tim Couch, Kurt Warner, Marc Bulger, David Carr (with a better team), Brian Greise, Jake Plummer (at times), and Mark Brunell and others probably that are at least as good as him, McNabb is nothing special...believe me....But the Eagles D IS one of the best out there!!! And you know what, D is what it takes late in the season, look at the Ravens, there Offense SUCKED, the won the Super Bowl, Patriots D got good last season...OR you need a great offense, which they are lacking....I also believe that Tampa Bay will lose in the playoffs, i mean to me it's pretty obvious that there usually a good team, and late in the season they don't perform when it's cold....So I am instantly throwing them out, Favre looks like he is on a down note, (honestly, he's not his HOF self anymore), Colts don't have the D, or a weapon other than Marvin Harrison, Patriots have a good Offense, but usually exchange touchdowns with teams which won't be good later on...So I'm definately on the lookout for the Eagles to be BIG this year!!! Another team that would be good in a warm climate is the Falcons, but they won't do anything against a good team in the cold....So my upset Super Bowl matchup is Jets vs. Eagles!!! Jets look like a team to reckon with since they got Vinny's sorry a$$ out of there, for years I have hated him!! I personally think he SUCKS, Pennington don't put up great stats put is pretty good, don't turn the ball over, and can run the ball so/so, plus there D isn't bad....So when these teams are in the Super Bowl, remember who called it Last 2 years I picked the teams that would be in the Super Bowl, and hope to make it 3, unless my Bills can improve and come together between now and then! But I doubt that'll happen, so there you have it

mcnabb overrated?? i dont see how u people think this. he had better stats(more yds, tds, fewer ints) than brett farve, manning, vick(ad more ints, vick only had 2, but better in all other stats). how can you say he's overrated when he beats all ur qbs in stats?

being an Eagles fan you will be on his nuts, thats just how the world turns, I like Bills but won't say Bledsoe is better than Manning....And Vick runs for like as many as he passes, and is very efficient...Colts D blows and they dont have much offensively but there record is as good as the "Beagles"...Face it, put anyone of those QB's on the Eagles and there record will be the same or better! What makes mcnabb so good then? Please tell me! Eagles look just as good as they always do with those bums Detmer and Feeley! So I don't really think McNabb means that much to his team, and he!!, he played the 2nd half injured against the Cardinals D, Cardinals D SUCKS!!! Uhm, they gave up 49 today right? Yeah, that's right they did! 8-3 with wins against Cardinals (sucks), Redskins (sucks), Cowboys (sucks), Giants (sucks), Tampa -AT HOME, SO IN THE COLD-, and Bears (sucks)...They beat one good team with McNabb in and was in the cold, which Tampa sucks in!! And look at the games in which McNabb puts up nice numbers, against all crap teams---Washington, Dallas, Houston, and Arizona!! NOTE---EAGLES ARE 0-3 VERSUS THE AFC.....the NFC isnt that good this year! Eagles have the EASIEST schedule in the NFL, there remaining games are: seattle (sucks), washington (sucks), dallas (sucks), and giants (sucks)...2 of the best 3 teams they played was WITHOUT McNabb and they won both, it's very simple to see that McNabb isnt that good!! Example of McNabb putting up his good numbers against bad teams, when they played Bucs he passed for 127 on 27 attempts (pretty bad if you ask me) and ran 6 times for 4 yards!! I an done with this post though, I typed about a thousand words trying to explain about McNabb being overrated, which he is, peace out though!

With the Eagles winning without McNabb, it doesn't show that he's not as good as peole think, it shows that the rest of the team is better than people think. They have one of the best defenses in the league, you can't deny that. Their offense is making plays and their QB's are playing mistake-free football. They don't have to be the RB/QB that McNabb was, they just have to get the ball into the hands of the receivers which they are doing, not that the receivers are always catching the balls but Todd Pinkston has really stepped up his game this season. If Staley keeps running the way he has been and the QB's are turning over the ball, I don't see why they can't go deep into the playoffs. They've already beaten two of the best teams in the NFL in the 49ers and the Bucs. As for them not winning big games, how long have you been watching football? If anyone hasn't been winning the big games, it the Bucs who have exited the playoffs in the 1st round the last two years, losing to the Eagles. Did you even watch the NFC Chamionship game last year? The Eagles lost by like 5 points to the Rams while the Packers were anihilated by them.

If not making it to the Super Bowl means you can't win big games, then there aren't many teams that can. I guess the Rams can't because the lost last year and the Bucs aren't any good because they can't get past the 1st round. I guess the Broncos aren't for real because they've been having trouble lately making the playoffs. Scratch Pittsburgh off the list because the Pats beat them last year. Do you see what I'm getting at? Hopefully you do because just because a team doesn't make the playoffs and go to the Super Bowl every year doesn't mean they can't win big games.

Uh, YES THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS! If you can't make it to the SB when you are in the playoffs most of the time you are CHOKING in the big games. The Rams, Packers, Broncos, Falcons, Titans, Patriots, etc all played great when it mattered most. Heck some of those teams are rarely in the playoffs and they were able to win the big games. The Eagles and the Bucs who are almost always in the playoffs year in and year out couldnt even make it ONCE, thats what I call CHOKING.

Losing in the playoffs doesn't mean you choke, it means you get outplayed by a better team. If you want to see choking, look at Chris Simms. You can lose a game like teh Eagles did last year in the playoffs even though you played a heck of a game. Choking is Brett Favre throwing like 6 INTs against the Rams last season, not the Eagles losing by 5 points. You can play your heart out and still lose but that doesn't mean you choked, it means the other team was just plain better.

LOL, how is Favre throwing 6 INTs in a playoff game considered choking? The Packers were never picked to beat the Rams anyways, and not to mention those last 3 came near the end of the game where Favre, being as stubborn as he is, would not just give into the fact that they lost and he tried to throw long passes every single play just to try and get some points. Its called heart, most other teams would have given up at that point. Having a bad game in the playoffs doesn't make one player a choker. You are just trying to hide the facts that the Eagles choke EVERY YEAR. Even one trick ponies who werent considered to go anywhere in the playoffs were able to make it, like the Falcons. Face it, until the Bucs and the Eagles make it once they will always be considered chokers, always able to make the playoffs but never able to make that final leap.

eagles have only missed the playoff 4-5 times since 1990. obviously they are a consistant team, and can get it done! almost every year they made it past the first round as well. as for packers being in the bowl 2 times in the last 6 yrs. ya, 6 years ago! thats past, that has not got a damn thing to do with this year. and considering the eagles are tied for 1st in the nfc, and packers are 3rd, so who's the better team this year? as for afc being a stronger conference?? not MANY teams are better than 7-5 in the afc. if you want a team that chokes try tampa. they've had a lotta great seasons lately but get knocked out 1st round each year by the eagles.
