    lol... its true though, lakers just dont lose in post season... and you could say if Dirk left the mavs for the first 11, they wouldnt be undefeated. and maybe the lakers wouldve won tonight if shaq was there. Hopefully this year is a different story for the mavs in the postseason.... Im rootin for em.

    unreal- I would bet my last penny that they mavs would be better than a lousy 3-8 if Dirk was out.

    kobecol- scoreboard It doesn't matter how many points you make when you look at the scoreboard at the end of the game and you lost. 3-8 Scoreboard (that is what it is all about)

    auto you must have me mistaken for someone else because i have NEVER said that the lakers are a championship team without Shaq. I was a Lakers fan long before Kobe came along i've just always recognized also how important Kobe is to their championship run i.e 2000 finals when kobe missed gm 3

    If shaq and devean george play the lakers win. The lakers are without 2 starters-shaq and devean george so beating them now is not a great accomplishment. Beat them with shaq and kobe playing and then I will give dallas their props.

    I think even if Kobe was out and Shaq was in, I think Lakers would have a winning record. The main reason is, Lakers at this point has no inside presence. So, even if Kobe was out when Shaq was playing, the guys would have more breathing room and someone to dish the ball into. So, if the Lakers go back to their winning ways when shaq returns, if those Kobe booster club start giving Kobe all this credit they gave last year for stuff Shaq does, they need to be slapped like the 3 Stooges.

    If shaq daddy doesn't come back 100%, the lakers won't be sniffing the playoffs. Because they stink without Shaq. Classless zeros without Shaq.

    In case you havent figured it out, I dont play for the lakers so I didnt get my a$$ kicked, they did. The mavs are good, but we will see what they do against a laker team with shaq in the game. I guarantee dirk wont even get close to the boards when shaq is in the game instead of the 6' 9" samaki walker at center. He keep his behind at the 3 point line where it is safe.

    what do I have to cry about. The lakers can go 3-79 and I have still seen my favorite team win back to back to back titles alomg with the back to back in the late 80's. The most exitement you gave ever gotten out of being a mavs fan is seeing them beat the lakers without 2 starters. I hope you enjoy it because it wont last.

    Nope. I don't collect Shaq. The word Shaq isn't in my name and I don't have a picture of Shaq as my icon. I just tell it how I see it.

    We ALL know the Lakers are NOTHING without Shaq. And we all know Kobe CAN'T carry his team to a winning record.

    Bottom line: If Shaq misses 50% of the regular season the Lakers miss the playoffs. Kobe is praying Shaq can come back and finish off the regular season. Otherwise this team is lucky to finish with a better record then Denver.
