is there ANY good cheap wax out there?

Are there any boxes that sell for, say, less than $40 that are actually worth buying? Ebay seems dry (even though I almost coughed up nearly $40 incl. shipping for a 2002 UD POH Football). I used to be able to buy assorted Pacific boxes for about $20-25 including shipping and pull anywhere from $75 to $200+ BV in cards, and then there's that 2001 Fleer Genuine hobby box I bought for $28 including shipping that was, well, quite nice But now the prices seem to be higher while the potential for high-BV cards or even just getting one's money's worth seems to be stagnating if not dropping. I enjoy buying cheap singles off Ebay and such, but sometimes I like to rip some wax. Any ideas?

2001 PACIFIC RETAIL BOX BASEBALL (36/10)- $25 at Dave and Adam's. Alotta numbered parallels and some pretty good inserts. Game-Used also. Hobby box is $30.
